A Green Bay man remains behind bars Tuesday.  38 year old Christopher Campbell faces 3 counts of reckless homicide after being linked to the deaths of 3 women who police say all died from drug overdoses. Tuesday Campbell made his first court appearance in Brown County.

The Brown County District Attorney office submitted a probable cause document in court. In the document, Campbell admits in a police report that he provided one of the victims with drugs because she asked him to.

In the last 5 months police believe Campbell gave 3 different women;  Tara Stascak, Julie Vines and Kim Sherman with drugs that led to each of their overdose deaths in Green Bay. Police say one of the drugs Campbell gave the women is methadone, a drug commonly used as pain medicine. In court was the son of one of the victims and also friends of the women who hope one day they'll know the truth behind the death of their loved ones.

"$150,000 cash bond and the fact that he couldn't afford that I guess was the only thing that provided me with a little bit of comfort knowing that he couldn't post that, he couldn’t get out and hopefully now there is time to find out what did happen," says Nicole O’Donnell a friend of two of the victims.

Campbell's attorney told the judge, Campbell is prescribed to methadone and that's why he has access to the drug. But, the judge ruled there is probable cause and he has reason to believe Campbell was involved with at least one of the overdose deaths Kim Sherman.

He'll stay in jail for now and be back in court on Friday.
