The Kaukauna Police Department along with the Kaukauna Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 300-block of Taylor street in Kaunkauna around 2 a.m. Saturday.
When officers arrived on scene they found the vehicle had crashed into a tree. A 55-year-old Kaukauna woman was taken to the hospital, but later died from her injuries.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating what caused the crash.
