Heritage Hill is hosting their annual Civil War Reenactment this weekend.  This year's focus is on lesser known battles representing the first year of the war.

People are able to really see what life was like in the 1800's.  They're even able to watch battles acted out live complete with cannons and muskets, see medical centers and even meet President Abraham Lincoln.

"To see what happened here with our own country and know that this really happened and to see the re-enactors, to see President Lincoln, I mean Lincoln is always everybody's favorite President and to see him in person and to talk with him, it's amazing," said Heritage Hill site manager, Sue Storzer.

If you missed the excitement today there's still time to get in on the action.  Battles run through Sunday.  Tickets are just $11 for adults and $8 for kids.
