The Green Bay Police issued a warning for counterfeit $100 bills being circulated in the Green Bay community.

The bills are identical to the new style $100 bill but have several Chinese symbols on the front and back of each side of the note.

So far, Green Bay Police has received five of these incidents while Ashwaubenon Public Safety has reported two.

Investigators believe the use of counterfeit bills is increasing. They're warning business owners to check their bills before completing a sale.

This webpage is dedicated to providing businesses tips to detect fake bills.

Green Bay Police ask that you contact Detective Brad Biller at (920) 448-3208 with any information on the manufacture or use of counterfeit money.
