At a local park in Green Bay one woman and her 4-year-old daughter, who are wishing to remain anonymous, are making a difference in the community.

"I wanted to bring everyone together and just promote kindness," explained the creator of the Green Bay Kindness Rocks Project.

You won't see them, but you will see their work across Titletown.

"You never know how it could touch their day, you know it might just make their day," said the creator.

There's no telling where these rocks may end up, but the message is always the same, urging people to spread kindness throughout your community.

"It really just shows that people in the community do care, they do believe in what our mission is and they believe that our work in the community does make a difference," said Captain Kevin Warych with the Green Bay Police Department.

One of the places the rocks showed up is at the Green Bay Police Department which put a smile on officer's faces there.

"It just gives officers that extra boost, it gives them that man I'm really making a difference and as they go throughout their day they know that people in the community care and support them," said Capt. Warych.

It's not just law enforcement who are receiving the kind words, it's random people on the street too and the whole idea started with a 4-year-old girl.

"It's just nice to see that she has such a young, tender heart and I hope that as she gets older she continues to give and support people," said the creator.

The mother-daughter duo says if you see a rock that inspires you, you're more than welcome to take it home or even make your own to pass along to others.
