Grand Chute Police arrest 33-year-old stabbing suspect

UPDATE: April 27, 2017 6:00 a.m. -- Grand Chute Police say they have located a person of interest in connection with a stabbing that happened on Monday. 

Even Schultz, 33, was located near the 700 block of Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton around 5 p.m. Thursday. 

He was booked on one count of attempted first degree intentional homicide.

The Grand Chute Police Department is investigating an incident involving a 25-year-old man who went to a local hospital with significant stab wounds to his neck and chest. The man has been treated for his injuries and released.

Investigators are looking to talk to Evan S. Schultz, 33, about his role in this incident. Those who have information on the whereabouts of Evan Schultz should contact law enforcement immediately.

Preliminary information indicated the incident occurred in a parking lot in the 3300 block of West College Ave. Investigators believe the suspect and victim were acquaintances and the dispute originated over a cell phone.
