As a police officer, you never know what you'll run into on the night shift.
Grand Chute Police officers learned that on October 8 when they encountered something interesting in the early morning hours: two horses on the loose!
Dash cam video captured officers chasing down the horses, the department posted on Facebook.
"Due to the quick thinking and actions of the officers, the pursuit ended quickly and safely," the department wrote in the post.
The horses were captured and returned to their owner, officers said.
