A 23-year-old Grand Chute man has been charged for allegedly stabbing his roommate after an argument.

Josue Hernandez-Reyes was charged with 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Substantial Battery Intending Bodily Harm, Criminal Damage to Property, and Disorderly Conduct Wednesday in Outagamie County Court.

Hernandez-Reyes is accused of stabbing his roommate after an argument that started over one roommate making noise while others were trying to sleep.

His 31-year-old male victim is expected to be released soon from the hospital after recovering from non-life threatening injuries, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called to a residence on the 1500 block of Tri Park Way Tuesday morning around 2 a.m., where they found the victim unconscious with multiple stab wounds.

Hernandez-Reyes is being held on a $100,000 cash bond and is ordered to have no contact with the victim.

He will be back in court May 3.
