It was quite the morning for a dog and his owner.
The dog, Storm, rescued a baby deer from the water in Port Jefferson, New York.
After being cared for by the dog on shore, the fawn was taken to an animal rescue shelter.
She will receive care until she's old enough to be released back into the wild.
