Stella Starry of De Pere got an honor most kids dream of.  Thursday night she got to be the Kick-off Kid at the Packers vs. Raiders game at Lambeau Field.

Starry was adopted from Guatemala as a baby.  She started to give back to her birth country at a young age by starting a lemonade stand.

"I was born there and now I just really want to donate stuff to them," said 9-year-old, Starry

Besides money she earns selling lemonade, she also hosts diaper drives with the help of Jake's Diapers.

"All the kids in Guatemala are going to be very happy and they're just going to be happy because now they don't have to choose between diapers and formula, they can have both," said Starry.

Her dad, Rich Starry says giving back is something they've tried to instill in Stella.

"From a young age with her being adopted, it's always been important for here to look back and see how fortunate she is and to try to be able to give back," said Rich Starry.

It's that kind hearted generosity that Shopko leaders, who organize the Kick-off Kid event, say earned Stella her spot.

"We started this to honor kids who are making an impact in the community," said Shopko spokesperson, Michelle Hansen.

In Stella's case that impact is going global.

"After a couple weeks I raised about $700 and then it just kept growing," said Starry.

She's now raised upwards of $4,000 for families in need in Guatemala, proving even the smallest person can make a difference in the world.
