Gas leak reported in Town of Neenah

UPDATE 9:30 a.m. 

We Energies officials say the gas leak has been pinched off at the source.

Crews will be on scene for a few hours to fix the line. 

Only one building is affected by the leak. 

No evacuations have been ordered in the area. 

UPDATE 9:15 a.m.

We Energies is the gas company responding to a gas leak in the Town of Neenah. 

Officials with We Energies say the call for the leak came in around 8:30 a.m. Friday. 

They've confirmed a construction crew hit a line in the back yard of a home on the 1800 block of Oakridge Road.

NBC26 has learned crews are responding to a gas leak in the Town of Neenah. 

Winnebago County dispatch tells NBC26 the leak is in the 1800 block of Oakridge Road. 

Construction workers hit a line and right now the Town of Neenah Fire Department is on scene waiting for the gas company to arrive. 

We don't know if anyone is being evacuated at this time.
