KAUKAUNA, Wis—The Red Cross is helping a family after a house fire.
The call came in around 8:30 p.m. Thursday night for a home in the 3000 block of Main Avenue.
The fire started in the outside patio area.
One person was treated on scene for smoke inhalation, and a cat was also removed from the home.
Damage is estimated around $55,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
