OSHKOSH, WI -- We now know when troops from the Oshkosh based 1157th transportation company are returning home.
More than 120 members served in Afghanistan for nearly a year. Now they'll be home in just a matter of days.
A welcome home event will be held at EAA in Oshkosh and crews are busy getting everything ready.
Soldiers returned to the US last week from Afghanistan. They are currently demobilizing in Mississippi.
Workers at EAA say they expect about a thousand people to be at the welcome home celebration and there will be plenty of emotion.
Guests for Friday's welcome home ceremony include Governor Scott Walker and leaders from Wisconsin's Army National Guard.
