Man accused of biting officer during arrest
MONONA, Wis. (AP) -- A Monona man could be charged with battery to a police officer after he was accused of biting the officer during an arrest for suspicion of drunken driving.
Police say the 30-year-old man struggled with the officer after he was pulled over in Monona Monday evening. The officer called for backup and the man continued to resist.
WISC-TV says he was eventually handcuffed. Police say he bit an officer and damaged a squad car in the process.
