Maple Syrup Industry
Wisconsin-- Dust Bowl-like conditions are not only affecting Wisconsin corn and wheat crops but also the state's maple syrup business. Workers tell us the warm spring meant they could tap only 200 trees out of the usual 700. Now the the heat wave and drought could hurt producers even further.
