GREEN BAY, Wis-- More than 600 people were without power in the city's west side on Friday morning.
A car struck a power pole causing the issue.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department says Shawano Avenue is blocked between Oneida Street and Fisk Street.
The eastbound lane of Shawano Avenue was open around 7:30 a.m.
The Green Bay Police Department says they expect the road to be closed until around 11:30 a.m.
WPS shared the following tweet:
About 640 customers without power on Green Bay’s west side due to downed wire. Please avoid Shawano/Hudson. Crews are arriving on scene.
