Ashwaubenon officer car chase ends at Austin Straubel International Airport

Ashwaubenon Public Safety is looking for a man after a car chase with officers early Tuesday morning ended at Austin Straubel International Airport. Another man was arrested after a search.

Around 12:30 a.m.Tuesday, Ashwaubenon officers tried to stop a vehicle on S. Oneida Street that was driving with no headlights.

The vehicle tried to escape officers and eventually drove onto Austin Straubel International Airport property.

It hit a gate and one person in the car jumped over the fence onto airport property, police said. Another man ran away while officers held two passengers at the scene.

The Brown County Sheriff's Office, Green Bay Police and De Pere Police all helped look for the suspects who escaped from the scene. 

A 24-year-old Green Bay man was arrested for resisting arrest and the other man is still missing.
