Arrests made in Oshkosh car thefts case

The Oshkosh Police Department has arrested three subjects for Operating Motor Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent after an investigation into four of the stolen vehicles that were taken between September 1 and September 12, 2016. 
 
Two 18 year-old male’s from Oshkosh and a 16 year-old male from Neenah, WI were arrested for stealing the vehicles. The two 18 year-olds were referred to the district attorney’s office and the 16 year-old was referred to Juvenile Intake. 
 
The investigation into the other vehicle thefts continues.   
 
The Oshkosh Police Department reminds all vehicle owners and operators to remove their keys from their vehicles and lock their doors when the vehicle is not in use.   
 
Since September 12, 2016, there have been four other reported stolen vehicles.  All of these vehicles were left unlocked with the keys inside the vehicle or left in the ignition.
