Neenah man sentenced for series of Fox Valley armed robberies

Phillip A. Thomas of Neenah was sentenced to 10 years confinement followed by six years of supervised release for a series of armed robberies in Fox Valley area.
 
Thomas had been charged with six counts of armed robbery for a series of convenience store robberies that occurred in May and June of 2016. In all of the robberies, the suspect displayed a handgun and targeted cash and cigarettes.
 
The robberies included within the six requested counts included the BP Gas station on Commercial Street in Neenah on May 26 and June 3; the Neenah BP Station on Highway O in the town of Neenah, on June 2; the BB Convenience Center on American Drive in Fox Crossing on June 8; and the Bay Area Citgo on Main Street in Neenah on June 10 and June 16.
