A 43-year-old Neenah woman was significantly injured in a hit and run at Riverside Cemetery Monday, and Appleton Police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect.

On July 17 around 8 p.m., the woman was hit by a car on a cemetery road at  the Riverside Cemetery, located at 714 N. Owaissa Street, police said.

She went to the hospital and was released, but has little memory of the incident because of her injuries.

The woman was alone in the cemetery and there were no calls from witnesses, according to police.

The only information police have about a potential suspect vehicle is it may have contained a young couple and was likely a passenger car, officers said.

Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to contact Appleton Police Sgt. Matt Ollwerther at (920) 832-5500, or by submitting a tip anonymously by texting 274637 (crimes).

Begin texts with keyword APDTIPS. Web tips can be submitted at Appleton.org/police.
