MILWAUKEE, WI -- Police stopped a woman suspected of drunk driving and found her 8-year-old on her lap steering the car.
Authorities said the 37-year-old woman failed a field sobriety test.
She was arrested for what they say is her 3rd suspected DUI.
Police saw the car entering an on-ramp with the child on her lap and stopped the vehicle.
Deputies say the boy was crying because he didn't want to go jail.
The woman was arrested and charges are pending.
The boy was turned over to child protective services.
