A special service in was held in Greenville today, honoring the 50th Commemorative of the Vietnam War.
AMVETS Post 30 held the service, to honor people who served.
"They are definitely our brothers and sisters in war and in peace. And we want to be there for them, reach out to them, let them know that we're sorry for the bad days that followed Vietnam, and that we want them to belong today to grow forward," said Commander Kim Craddock.
Organizers say that the day was meant to say thank you to veterans.
