Students Shave Their Heads for a Good Cause
Half a dozen students at Notre Dame Academy lose their hair, all for a good cause.
Six students shaved their heads today to help raise money for childhood cancer research. Only one girl was brave enough to get her head shaved in front of the entire school this morning.
"I wanted to make a difference and this is just one of the many things that i could do and i raised about 6,500 dollars for cancer research and it just i don't it's great. It feels great," says Madelyn Brusda.
The school raised more than 17,000 dollars this year. It's Notre Dame's fifth year participating in the fundraiser.
