Oldest Red Cross Volunteer Gets Surprise
GREEN BAY, Wis.--She's the oldest volunteer at the American Red Cross in Green Bay, and she got the surprise of a lifetime while donating her time.
Blanche Baudhuin turned 97 Thursday! A barbershop quartet sang a few songs in her honor while she was helping out at the Red Cross Blood Center.
Baudhuin says the secret to her age is volunteering for 35 years. She started volunteering in 1977 which was a year after her husband passed away.
