SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis.--Some parts of Northeast Wisconsin are getting hit hard by the next snow storm. Up to 10-inches is expected in Shawano County, which has some bracing themselves. It's not just the snow that's causing problems. When it melts is when the real headache begins for some.

"Another six to eight inches is not going to make me happy," Leone Schneidewend said.

It's times like this Schneidewend and her husband wish they were snow birds.

"Cleaning the driveway out every couple of days gets to be a little much," Larry Schneidewend said.

Melting snow is flooding the couple with problems in their garage. They have to dig a trench to keep the water out--and are not looking forward to doing it again with the next storm.

"I think I'll just stay in the house and leave the rest of it up to my husband," Leone said. "I know the snowmobilers enjoy it."

Down the road, a snowmobile trail runs through the Corner Bar's parking lot. But owner John Schneider tells us the latest round of snow won't get snowmobilers ordering any more rounds in his bar.

"This snow we're gonna get here with warm weather we've got coming, I don't think we're going to get any snowmobiling out of it now. I think it's just gonna make for tough conditions here," Schneider said. "I'd rather just see rain."

So would the Schneidewends because getting their snow blower ready is now routine.

The couple says even though the snow is a mess they are happy about getting more moisture on their farm. They tell us last winter was so dry there wasn't enough to grow hay.
