GREEN BAY --Some top local high school athletes are showing off their skills to college coaches and recruiters.

More than 140 high school football players from the across the midwest put their talents on display at the Bellin elite football combine. Many of the athletes are from Green Bay and Fox Valley high schools.

They were all selected based on past peformance or had a coach nominate them.

"This morning we spent time trying to find out how strong they are, how fast they are, how high they can jump. The afternoon right now we're doing some position specific drills which really kind of sees what kind of football player they are" said Terry Beck with the Bellin Elite Football Combine.

The event was held at the Packers practice facility and is modeled after the annual professional combine.
