WGBA--A Shawano County family overcome with grief as they prepare to lay their loved ones to rest. James Gollnow, his wife Barbara and their daughter Sereena, along with two foster children, and a family friend died in a dar crash in Kentucky last Saturday. They were all from Marion.

James and Barbara's children say even in this difficult time, they want to share with everyone the loving memories they have of their mother, stepfather and sister before they say their goodbyes Saturday.

"It's been very difficult, we were very close to them," said Lisa Taylor, the victims' daughter.

Lisa Taylor and Chris Young are in a lot of pain. They're still coming to grips with the crash last weekend, near Louisville Kentucky that killed their mother, stepfather, and sister.

The family's SUV was rear ended by a semi. Lisa remembers the last time she talked to her mom., just one day before the crash.

"I wish we could have talked about other things but I just didn't know" said Taylor.

The last time they saw each other was just before the Gollnow's trip. They were driving back from a week-long vacation in Florida.

"We are ...holding up...We are pretty much holding up each other" said Taylor.

They remember their parents as hard workers and people with a big heart.

"My work ethic came from my mom. My jokester stuff came from JIm" said Chris Young, the victims' son.

As they prepare to say their final goodybyes family members say they want to celebrate the lives the Gollnows had.

"They had a wonderful life they really did" said Taylor.

Visitation will be held at Marion Elementary School Saturday at one 1pm with funeral services at 3pm.
