BROWN COUNTY, Wis.--A murder victim's family pleading for help one year after Thomas Wick was found shot to death in his Howard home.

His friend found his body in the basement last February. Twelve months have passed and still no arrest. Wick's sister-in-law is begging for help to track down his killer.

The family met with investigators Wednesday afternoon to get up to speed on the case.

"I can't believe it's a year," Leanne Wicks said.

Pain and anguish still run deep inside Leanne, trying to cope with her brother in law's murder.

"Every month I didn't think I could get through another month, but to think we've gone 12 months, and we're seeing no farther than we were 12 months ago. It makes me sick," Leanne said.

Brown County investigators continue to follow tips almost everyday, still trying to piece together who would murder Thomas Wick--a well liked man and father.

"I would like to think they're closer. It sounds like they're a lot closer. I guess we won't know until we talk to them, but we won't be able to share that information once we do talk to them," Leanne said.

Leanne is helping investigators get closer to an arrest. Last summer, she started a website about the case, at one point offering a $10,000 reward.

"I just have to beg that someone come forward and do the right thing, tell what you know, give us some information, so that we can end this as quickly as possible," Leanne said.

Thomas Wick was the owner of Bayside Electric. His family wants to pay tribute to him by starting a foundation in his name and offering scholarships in the electrical field.
