Waterfront Project Continues in Oshkosh
OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Construction on a new hotel and conference center continues along the shore of the Fox River in Oshkosh. Builders of the Oshkosh Premier Waterfront Hotel took the media on a tour and provided a progress report on the project.
It's a project more than three years in the making, and while there's still plenty of work to do, project leaders are proud of the progress.
"We were under de-construction for so long that its nice to see construction and making great headway," said operating partner Rich Batley.
The new owners say an experienced team will ensure the hotel's success.
The project created 350 jobs construction jobs and about 200 people will be employed once it opens in late April.
