Green Bay-- This is the first winter GB Public Works is using, "Wet Technology" a system of pretreating roads ahead of snow storms. Basically, crews spray down the roads with a salt-water solution which will attack snow and ice as it falls. This in effect makes driving safer during winter weather because snow will begin melting immediately instead of piling up until a plow comes to push it off.
