Police Identify Body Found in Green Bay
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Police Department has identified the man, found dead Wednesday morning on the city's east side.
The body of 53 year old Earl Reed was discovered near a sidewalk on the 1600 block of Main Street
Capt. Todd Thomas with the Green Bay police department said a passerby noticed the Reed's body shortly before 7 am and unsuccessfully tried to administer CPR.
Thomas said a relative called looking for him earlier in the evening when he didn't return home, leading authorities to believe he may have been walking home early this morning. It is still unclear how Reed died.
An autopsy is planned for Thursday. Police do not believe foul play was involved in Reed's death.
