Appleton Police to Enforce Snow Emergency Parking Ban
On the evening of January 30, 2013 the Appleton Police Department will begin enforcement of the parking restrictions related to the Class III Snow Emergency that was announced by the City of Appleton on January 29, 2013.
To facilitate the plowing of roadways in the City of Appleton and to ensure safe travel for motorists, it is important that citizens, and visitors, refrain from parking their vehicle on any city street after 5:00 PM on January 30, 2013. This parking ban will remain in effect until 9:00 AM on January 31, 2013.
The Appleton Police Department is bringing in additional Community Service Officers to ticket and tow vehicles that are in violation of the Class III Snow Emergency parking restrictions.
During the Class III Snow Emergency, the Appleton Police Department will not be granting any special parking permission.
