Backing BadgerCare, Should Walker Take Federal Money?
APPLETON, Wis.-- Wisconsin's low income residents are hoping Governor Scott Walker accepts federal money to help pay for BadgerCare.
BadgerCare is a Medicaid program that insures people and families who meet certain poverty guidelines. A press conference is happening in Appleton today to urge Walker to accept $12 billion from the federal government.
