Area students will have milk at school this week. Despite the Waukesha Golden Guernsey Dairy Plant shut-down on Saturday.

The company reportedly supplied over three-hundred Wisconsin schools with milk. Including the Oshkosh School District, Who says it's about more than Just the milk. "We don't know about our specialty items like lite sour cream," Oshkosh Food Services Director Peggy West explained. "We also get a small supply of orange juice for out children that have milk allergies."

The Oshkosh School District will still get milk from the same transport company.  But they will deliver Kemps instead. But there's no guarantee that these quick fixes will be long term solutions. There's no word on the future of the plant.
