With the Packers playoff game in San Francisco less than a week away, fans try to tackle getting their hands on tickets.

"The wife's not too happy because this is a man thing, and she wanted to go to San Francisco," Packers fan Victor Silva said.

So rather than red roses, Silva scours the racks to give his wife something green and gold, for letting him go to Saturday's playoff game.

"I have a friend of mine who has access to game tickets, so that will not be a problem," Silva said.

But for others, nabbing a ticket is not so easy.

"We have people that are waiting in line to talk to our travel consultants," Brian Hurley, Vice President of Fox World Travel said.

Fox World Travel in Appleton has been slammed with dozens of calls since they opened Sunday morning.

They're offering ticket and hotel packages in San Francisco for the playoff game.

Vice President Brian Hurley couldn't tell us how many packages they've sold yet, but the next 48-hours will be crunch time.

"San Francisco, the good thing about it, it does have a lot of hotels. I think if the demand is there we're going to be able to get as many people as really want to go," Hurley said.

Meanwhile Silva shops for his wife, but believes it won't be his last Packers trip.

"I'm confident at the end of the day we'll be in New Orleans," Silva said.

Tickets are going fast. Fox World Travel expects to be sold-out of playoff game packages by Tuesday.
