U.S. Marshals Search for Missing Sex Offenders
GREEN BAY, Wis.-- The U.S. Marshals Service joined Green Bay Police and the Brown County Sheriff's Department on a sweep to make sure all of the 340 registered sex offenders are accounted for in Brown County.
According to a news release, the Marshals Service reported 12 may not be living where they had indicated through the Wisconsin registry.
The search operation began several days ago and arrest warrants could be filed against the missing offenders.
The investigation into locating the offenders is expected to continue with the cooperation of Brown County's law enforcement agencies.
