Tragedy in Fond du Lac: Teen Killed and 2 Others Injured in Accident
FOND DU LAC, Wis.-- Fond du Lac Police say a Dotyville area teen has died from injuries suffered in an early morning crash on Fond du Lac Ave. and East Pioneer Road.
17 year old Giovanni Clouse, a student at Campbellsport High School, passed away at the scene of the crash, according to a Fond du Lac Police Department news release. Two other passengers, 18 year old Gilberto Castaneda-Bobadilla from Eden and 17 year old Alex Schultz, were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Schultz is also a student at Campbellsport.
Officers tell NBC26 the accident happened just before 3:00am Friday after the driver lost control, crossed the center line and hit a tree.
Fond du Lac Police notified Campbellsport High School about the accident that involved two of their students.
