Shawano-- As Shawano County's Emergency Management Director, Steve Haskell helps coordinate disaster response and preparedness for events like flooding but tonight, he could be facing charges stemming from an investigation involving his work computer.

The investigation started when Shawano County officials were notified that one of their own might  be doing something against work rules. Judy Rank speaking for the county said Tuesday, "...allegations that equipment issued to a specific employee, Steven Haskell was being used inconsistent with county policy."

Shawano County says its sheriff's department was notified last Friday that Haskell was miss-using his work computer and on Sunday he was arrested by the same department where he works. Shawano County says Haskell's office is located within the sheriff's department. Tuesday night Haskell was released from jail. He has not been charged.

The investigation into any possible wrongdoing is ongoing. Once the Shawano County District Attorney's office receives a completed investigation it may take possible actions.
