Washington County Man Formally Charged with Murder
Waupaca County, Wis.--Formal charges have been filed against a Washington County man, ccused of killing his girfriend in a New London hotel. Kevin Lombard faces one count each of first degree reckless homicide, strangulation and suffocation.
Prosecutors say Lombard killed Amelia Schmitz. Her body was discovered at this hotel in August 2011. According to a criminal complaint, an argument led to the woman's death. Lombard is due back in court on September 27th.
