The wait is finally over. Next week the DNR will choose who gets a wolf hunting permit. A DNR spokeswoman tells us they received close to 20,000 applications. The cut off was Friday night.
There are a little over 1100 permits available. The DNR will pick through an electronic lottery. Wolf hunting season runs October 15th through February 28th.
