OAK CREEK -- Tragedy at the temple. At least seven people are dead and three others fighting for thier lives tonight after a gunman opens fire at a Sikh Temple in Oak Creek near Milwaukee during Sunday service. Police say the suspect was killed during a gunfight with a responding officer who was also shot multiple times. We're told he's expected to survive. Law enforcement officials are calling this a domestic terrorist case and the FBI is taking over the investigation. The unidentified suspect had no known ties to organized groups but the investigation is just beginning. The investigation moved beyond the temple. Police and FBI agents searched the alleged gunman's home tonight. Officers say it's a short distance from the temple. Dozens of homes in the neighborhood were evacuated. Authorities would not comment on the search.
