It's not only frustrating driving through construction zones with reduced traffic lanes, but can be even more of a hassle as drivers face slower travel Friday when Packer fans head to Lambeau Field.
The state Department of Transportation is reminding motorists driving toward Lambeau for the Green Bay Packers Family Night to allow themselves additional travel time due to road construction. The event kicks off at 11 a.m.
Below is a list of major roads in northeast Wisconsin that most Packer fans will be traveling and the road conditions:
Highway 41: In Brown County, drivers will encounter 11- foot travel lanes and reduced shoulders in multiple locations along a 10- mile segment of the highway with a speed limit of 55 mph.
In Winnebago County, a majority of 16 miles of the highway has restricted shoulders,11-foot lanes and reduced speed limits.
Highway 29: In Brown County, motorists will have to drive on 11-foot traffic lanes with reduced shoulders.
Interstate 43 at Leo Frigo Bridge: Traffic on the bridge is reduced to a single lane in both directions.
