Fire Training on Leo Frigo Bridge
GREEN BAY, Wis--Drivers crossing the Leo Frigo (Tower Drive) bridge in Green Bay will notice firefighting crews working on their skills over the next three days.
The fire department plans a series of drills in the northbound lanes on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd from 8:30am-3:00pm. The training will focus on firefighting operations and water supply in the event of a vehicle or machinery fire on top of the bridge.
In a news release, the fire department says traffic should not be impacted by the drills. Operations will take place in lanes already closed sections of the bridge.
