Packers Cut Peprah

GREEN BAY, Wis.--Just a day before the start of of training camp, the Packers announced the release of safety Charlie Peprah.

Peprah appeared in 67 games with 26 starts during his five seasons in Green Bay (2006-08, 2010-11) and registered 181 tackles (140 solo), seven interceptions and 23 passes defensed. A fifth-round pick by the New York Giants in 2006, he was claimed off waivers by Green Bay from the Giants in September 2006.

 

Grant Cook (G) was also released in an announcement made by Packers GM Ted Thompson.

 

Greg Van Rotten (G) was added to the team, the Packers reported Thursday afternoon.
