GRAND CHUTE--In light of the shooting massacre in Colorado, a Grand Chute movie theater is amping up security this weekend. Expect to see extra officers around the clock at Hollywood Cinema. Police are keeping a close eye outside and inside the theater.

Fear lingers around Hollywood Cinema. It surrounds Rebecca Ehlers as she heads inside.

"This morning we were a little hesitant hearing it on the news,” Ehlers said. “We were thinking about going to a midnight showing last night, but we decided to wait for tonight.”

"We want to make sure we're doing what we can to avoid that type of thing from happening in our area,” Sgt. Aaron Schellinger said, with Grand Chute Police Department.

Officers are amping up security.

"People can expect to see officers hopefully in a frequent basis, depending on call volume. We'll have officers walking through the facility. We'll have officers patrolling the parking lot. We ask anybody that sees anybody out of the ordinary to contact authorities right away,” Sgt. Schellinger said.

"The reason we decided to come is because we know there will be security. I do feel a lot safer now coming with my husband,” Ehlers said.

As Ehlers watches the "Dark Knight", her thoughts will still drift more than a thousand miles to Colorado.

"It really is sad. My heart goes out to all those victims out there and all those families,” Ehlers said. “Hopefully they're in heaven with God now. God bless them."

Depending on how this weekend goes, officers say security may be even tighter next week. We did call Green Bay police, but they say there will not be extra security at Marcus Theaters.
