Green Bay Police: Vehicle Located in Fatal Hit and Run

GREEN BAY, Wis.--Green Bay Investigators report they have found the car involved in a fatal hit and run on the city's east side. The July 8th incident killed 52 year old Daryl Wayka as he crossed the 1400 block of E. Main Street.
Officers tell NBC26 News citizen tips and interviews led them to a garage in Bellevue where the car was located. They also report a person of interest has been identified in the case. "The person is not in this area and we are working with family and associates to attempt to get the suspected driver to come back to the area and meet with investigators;" A Green Bay Police Department news release stated.
Investigators have not released the name of the suspected driver.
