Shawano - Two people were killed when a vehicle and a motorcycle collided Monday afternoon at E. Green Bay St. and Airport Road, Shawano police said.

The motorcycle driver, Gene M. Greene, 56, of St. Charles, Ill., and a passenger in the vehicle, Patricia M. Voigt, 79, of Shawano, were pronounced dead at Shawano Medical Center after the 1:15 p.m. crash, police said.

Roger F. Voigt, 80, the vehicle driver, was treated at the medical center and released.

Roger Voigt was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way, causing death, police said.

Voigt was traveling west on Green Bay St. and attempted to turn left onto Airport Road. He turned into the path of Greene, who was eastbound on Green Bay St., police said.
