Appleton Police Investigate Strong Armed Robbery
APPLETON, Wis.--The Appleton Police Department is investigating what it calls a strong armed robbery late Monday night. Investigators say a woman was walking in the 300 block of Washington street when she was attacked by an unidentified man around 11:50pm.
The victim's purse was stolen and officers say she was slightly injured in the incident. The suspect is described as a tanned white male, possibly Hispanic, wearing dark clothing.
