Lifest Opens in Oshkosh
OSHKOSH, Wis.--It's the opening day of Lifest and music are ready. It took some drivers more than an hour to weave through the line of cars waiting to pull into the Sunnyview Expo Center. It's a festival that's bringing in people from all over including Monica Hellweg. "I came from Stevens Point, Wisconsin."
Lifest directors hope this year will see a record attendance for the five day event. "We're expecting our biggest crowd tonight - and hoping for over 20 thousand people to show up." Marketing Director Tammy Borden told us.
When it comes to the overall experience and atmosphere people like Jamie Zaleski say this festival is different from most. "Dress code, the fact that my kids can run around and I trust the people who are on the ground with them, the music - I know what they're listening to is good for them."
Lifest runs through Sunday and tickets are still available at the front gate.
