Appleton Man Arrested on Multiple Charges
APPLETON, Wis.--Appleton Police report an was made in connection with a series of serious crimes outside a Starbucks in the City.
Thaddeus Lietz is accused of going into an unlocked SUV and hiding in the cargo area. The owner of the vehicle returned and drove to her home in Pewaukee. When she got there, police say Leitz got out of the car and ran away.
He was later caught by the woman's husband and told him he was looking for friends.
Investigators say Lietz has served a two year prison term for committing a similar crime in the past and he may be connected to several more unsolved incidents.
Lietz is in the Outagamie County jail on a probation hold.
